Triassic Gondwanan Ecosystem Reconstruction
Digital paleoenvironmental reconstruction, Dinosaurs Unearthed exhibition

Created as part of the exhibition Dinosaurs Unearthed, 2023
Reconstruction of a Late Triassic Gondwanan floodplain ecosystem, centered on ephemeral water bodies within a strongly seasonal climate. The landscape depicts shallow, short-lived pools surrounded by low vegetation dominated by Pleuromeia thickets and early conifer–fern associations, reflecting stressed post-extinction terrestrial communities.
The aquatic and semi-aquatic assemblage includes the temnospondyl Xenobrachyops, early archosaur Kadimakara, the temnospondyl Lapillopsis, the procolophonid Eomurruna, alongside a lungfish and the predatory actinopterygian Saurichthys. The scene emphasizes ecological interaction within unstable aquatic habitats shaped by drought and rapid inundation cycles.
