Reptiles of Shestakovo

Large-scale mural reconstruction of the Early Cretaceous ecosystem of Shestakovo, one of the most significant vertebrate fossil localities in Western Siberia. Created as the backdrop for a museum display of fossil remains, the artwork depicts a herd of the ceratopsian dinosaur Psittacosaurus sibiricus alongside a stegosaur known from fragmentary fossil evidence discovered at the site. Designed for the permanent exhibition of the Museum of Nature.
